Position Summary
Responsible for applying pesticides and fertilizer throughout the golf course via various spray and fertilizer equipment. All applications must be made in compliance with product labels and local and federal law. Will also be responsible for executing various other golf course related tasks not associated with chemical and fertilizer applications.
Primary Responsibilities of the Position
- Apply of fertilizer and pesticides per instructions of golf course leadership
- Assist with maintaining spray equipment in a clean and proper working order
- Assist with accurate record keeping
- Keep supervisors informed of product inventory levels.
- Perform other golf course related duties as assigned or requested by managers.
- Must have a valid driver's license and all the paperwork required to work legally in the United States
- Must be able to obtain a Florida pesticide applicators license
- Be able to identify most weeds and insects
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop or bend for duration of shift at [least eight (8) hours]
- Must be able to work some weekends and holidays
