Sports Director-NIKE USA Inc., Los Angeles, CA. Develop strategic plans to ensure the continued successful growth and profitability. Conduct environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies. Identify, investigate, evaluate and negotiate acquisitions, licensing opportunities and strategic business alliances that are in line with the organization's long-range goals. Drive a planning process in which all gates and dates are clearly understood. Monitor factors that would indicate the need for redirection of strategy. Lead the process of developing strategic initiatives and objectives for the current year. Inform the overall shape of men's basketball sports marketing portfolio, aligned to the vision and strategy of the brand and business. Leverage sports marketing men's basketball teams, athletes, and partnerships to drive growth, while maximizing and modernizing contractual rights. Anticipate internal and external business challenges and regulatory issues. Recommend process, product or service improvements. Identify relevant measures and drive accountability for on-going performance against business and strategic objectives by preparing for and help leading quarterly business review process. Up to 50% travel is required. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from SD, VT, and WV.
Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a marketing-related occupation. Experience must include:

Rate of Pay: $190,008.00 to $235,400.00 per year
