We are looking to add a Sponsorship & B2B Sales Executive to join our team based in New York City.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Sales Executive to develop our business in the US and Canada. It will involve
- Building B2B sponsorships and brand activations around our company - a leading high-level executive education event in NYC.
- Sell sponsorships of our global digital learning programs.
- Develop learning programs for corporate clients.
The ideal candidate would have 5-10 years of sales experience. Be excited by the opportunity to work on one of the world’s most established and well-respected business and leadership conferences.
Knowledge of the events / conference industry and / or executive education industry a plus but not essential.
This is a full-time permanent position with a basic annual salary plus variable based on performance.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Identifying and researching prospective new client accounts to pitch partnership opportunities
- Building strong customer rapport
- Comfortable working with clients who are senior decision makers in their organizations
- Developing and managing your own portfolio of clients
- Meeting and exceeding targets through your sales activities
- Demonstrating excellent product and sector specific knowledge
Qualifications and Skills
- 5-10 years of B2B sales experience. Experience in Sponsorship Sales a plus.
- Curious, creative, self-motivated
- Interest in business and industry trends
- Be a self-motivated, results oriented salesperson with track record of delivering to targets
- You need to hold a minimum academic qualification of a university degree (or equivalent).
- Spanish language skills are a plus
- This is an inside and outside sales job, involving cold outreach as well as to holding one-on-one, in-person meetings.
Candidate will ideally have experience using the following:
- Salesforce
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Google Workspace
- Zoom info (or similar)
