Spitz Mediterranean Night Crew Member

Spitz @ASU is adding night shift members (open until 1AM) to our awesome Front of House and Kitchen crew on ASU's Tempe Campus. Being on ASU campus and near downtown Tempe/Mill Ave. - the nightlife is the most important part of our business. Candidates that are regularly willing to work nights/evenings are very important to our growing restaurant.

What does that mean?

Front of House:

It means you're great with people, can quickly and accurately take orders on a POS System, help run food from the kitchen, interact with guests, etc all in a fast paced, fun and positive team environment.

One year restaurant experience strongly preferred but we’re willing to train anyone with the right attitude. Reliability, a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others and alone is a must.

Kitchen Crew:

Minimum of one year kitchen experience is strongly preferred. But we’re willing to train anyone with the right attitude. Reliability, cleanliness, and ability to work as a team are a must. We’re a simple operation, making wraps, salads and sides in a fast paced and exciting environment. You won’t need to grill a steak or poach an egg in this kitchen.

After training (1-2 weeks) you’ll be part of our tip pool in addition to your hourly wage. $300 retention bonus 3 months after training. Free shift meal every shift.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with sanitizing and cleaning dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors
- Clear tables and bus dishes to maintain a clean and organized dining environment
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with their needs and answering any questions they may have
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the health and well-being of customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations in the kitchen and dining areas

Qualifications:
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and provide accurate change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Previous experience in a retail or kitchen setting is a plus, but not required
