Ohio School District is in Need of a Virtual SLP for Tele Speech Services
A school district in Ohio is in need of a Speech-Language Pathologist for a remote Speech Therapist Position for the remainder of the school year. This position requires an experienced therapist who is comfortable operating under a 1099 Contractor status and is able to be self-motivated to exceed in a teletherapy assignment. Requirements:

• OH SLP License
• Ohio Teaching Credential
• Pediatrics experience
• ASHA CCC
• Must provide your own professional liability insurance
• Must be able to complete a basic technical screening
  • Access to stable Wi-Fi and an updated computer
  • Chromebooks and iPads are not appropriate computers for the tech screening or the VocoVision platform

Experience:

• At least 2 years experience working in a school setting
• Experience working with elementary age students
• Experience with a range of degrees of disability

Job Details:

• 1099 Contract
• Full time (40 hours/week)

    • oversee assessments and evaluations
    • Provide direct therapy services in line with both long and short term student goals
    • Attend IEP meetings
