- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued improvement
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
- Participate in case management meetings to discuss patient progress and develop discharge plans

- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to speech production and swallowing
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments using standardized tests and clinical observations
- Experience working with patients in critical care settings such as the ICU
