```Job Summary:```
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing critical care speech therapy services to patients in various settings, including the ICU, hospital wards, and pediatric units. Your expertise in anatomy, patient care, and medical terminology will be essential in assessing and treating patients with speech and communication disorders.

```Duties:```
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech and communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Utilize specialized techniques and equipment to assist patients in regaining or improving their communication skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued improvement
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
- Participate in case management meetings to discuss patient progress and develop discharge plans

- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to speech production and swallowing
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments using standardized tests and clinical observations
- Experience working with patients in critical care settings such as the ICU
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practice
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care for pediatric patients
- Familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures related to speech therapy services
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads and maintaining accurate documentation

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
