Job Description:

Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? Soliant has partnered with a local school district whois seeking a qualified individual to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop essential munication and language skills, enabling them to reach their full potential academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' specific needs.
• Provide speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' academic success.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and municate findings to relevant parties.
• Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
• Stay current with best practices and evidence-based techniques in the field of speech-language pathology.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school district.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Louisiana state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
• Experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
