Job Description
Soliant, a reputable staffing agency, is currently seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join a respected school district near Denham Springs, Louisiana. This full-time position, enpassing 35 hours per week, presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to students' speech and language development from January through May within an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions to address students' specific speech and language goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, targeting various speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into the students' educational plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress reports, and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Sciences and Disorders.
- Louisiana state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy for various speech and language disorders.
- Strong munication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
