Speech Language Pathologist

Nexus Therapy is now hiring for full-time hybrid speech-Language Pathologist positions for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year as well as the upcoming 2024-2025 school year! These positions would be working in a hybrid role with a great smaller, yet supportive, district near Arcadia, Louisiana. These positions pay $68 per hour and you can bill for up to 6.4 hours per day worked (32 hours/week)! This district has students in grades preK through grades 12, with a variety of needs. You could be 100% on-site or potentially write reports and attend some meetings remotely, in a hybrid role.

```Duties:```
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve students' speech and language skills.
- Collaborate with other educators, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide education and guidance to students, families, and caregivers on speech and language development strategies.

```Qualifications:```
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Louisiana license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with speech, language, and communication, disorders.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in speech-language pathology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and other educational professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
