Lakeview Specialty Hospital & Rehab is growing!!
We are seeking a Lead Speech Pathologist to manage our busy speech therapy department. This position includes completion of administrative duties, clinical supervision, and provision of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision of the speech therapy staff.
- Provide skilled speech therapy services.
- Adheres to missions, philosophy, policies and procedures of the facility.
- Adheres to speech therapy standards of practice and assists in development of annual departmental goals and objectives.
- Maintains active and participatory communication with all members of the treatment team including accurate, thorough, and timely documentation.
- Demonstrate clinical competence in all areas of physical therapy and assure professional growth through attendance of available in-house in-services and yearly or bi-yearly outside courses.
- Promotes mission and philosophy of the facility in a positive manner in the community.
- Acts as a liaison between the Speech Therapy staff, Director, and all programs within the facility.
License / Education Requirements:
- Current State of Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathology license
- Degree from accredited educational institution
- Current CPR certification
Preferences
- Previous professional or clinical education experience in a neuro-rehab setting is strongly preferred but not required.
- Prior supervisory experience a plus.
