Status: Part time however Full time positions are also available. (Our part time positions are per day you will be schedule to work certain days for the duration of hours listed below. )

Hours: Clinic is open Monday- Friday 7:30 a.m. -3:15 p.m. Schools start at 8:00 a.m. and typically end by 3:30.

The Gig:

Welcome to the League of Speech Language Superheroes! As a Speech Language Pathologist, you're not just a therapist—you're a caped crusader, a guardian of gab, and a champion of communication! Prepare to embark on an epic quest through the realm of diagnosing, assessing, and treating communication challenges. From the lively halls of our school to the bustling corridors of our clinic, get set to turn every day into a thrilling adventure! Your mission? You'll wield your powers to carry a small caseload, whether you're swooping in for early intervention or tackling challenges in the school-age arena. But that's not all—you'll also don the mantle of mentorship, supervising fellow therapists with a guiding hand. With your trusty toolkit of tests and assessments, you'll uncover hidden truths and reveal the secrets of speech and language. Armed with your findings, you'll craft treatment plans that are as unique as the heroes you serve.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise other therapist by giving them a helping hand
• Attend IEP meetings 
• Write reports and treatment plans. 
• Lead the charge in communication skill improvement through fun exercises and engaging activities, whether one-on-one or while supervising.
• Keep track of our heroes' progress with detailed and accurate records of therapy sessions.
• Team up with other healthcare heroes, educators, and caregivers to ensure our clients' overall well-being shines bright.
• Offer a helping hand and a listening ear to our clients and their families as they navigate the world of speech and language disorders.

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders 
• Certified Speech Language Pathologist or ready to conquer certification.
• Past adventures in a clinical or educational setting are a plus!
• Superb communication skills and a knack for building connections.
• Ability to work side by side with a diverse team of fellow superheroes.
• A heart full of compassion and enough patience to move mountains, especially when working with individuals facing communication challenges.

Other Requirements:

• Fully vaccinated and boosted to protect our Sparkle Squad (we've got accommodations covered!).
• CPR & First Aid Certificate (because safety first!).
• A current TB test (within 3 months) to keep our team healthy and happy.
• A physical that's as strong as your superhero spirit.
• Mandated Reporter status (we've got to look out for each other!).
