We are looking for a friendly and professional individual who enjoys working with a team of professionals to conduct Early Start Developmental Assessments. These comprehensive assessments assess the infant’s developmental level in the following domains: Cognitive Skills, Socialization Skills, Receptive Language, Expressive Language, Fine Motor Skills, Gross Motor Skills, and Self Help. Experience working with children is necessary, but no experience in conducting assessments is required.
The SLP will assist with the administration of developmental assessments from birth to 36 months. The SLP is also responsible for speech assessments and speech services for infants to 5 years of age. Additionally, the SLP is responsible for a diverse set of administrative/non-administrative tasks. The SLP is also responsible for rendering speech assessments and speech services. Full training will be provided. Due to COVID-19, and patient preferences, we will be offering SOME services virtually.

Pay Scale Annually: $100,000-125,000
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients, complete & verify child’s information in documents.
- Complete consents
- Render speech assessments and provide Speech Services
- Provide speech therapy services to patients with various communication disorders
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on speech and language techniques for improved communication
- Provide case management for patients, including coordinating with insurance companies and scheduling follow-up appointments
- Complete assessment packet and HELP assessments
- Maintain client confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
