Samaritan Healthcare is actively seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join their team!
Location: 801 E. Wheeler Road, Moses Lake, WA 98837
Shift: Day Shift (FT, 40 hrs/wk Mon-Fri) 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay:
- Starting at $45.53/hr, will increase based on experience
- Offering up to $15k Sign-on Bonus
Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to the inpatients and or outpatient population of Samaritan Healthcare to include assessment, treatment and care as well as participating in educational instruction with patients and patients’ families.
- The Speech-Language Pathologist must be competent in the interpretation of a patient's self-report, behavior, and understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional, and chronological maturation process.
- The treatment of patients should be individualized and should reflect an understanding of the developmental needs and range of treatment needs for each patient.
Must Haves:
- License: Active, or eligible to obtain Washington State Speech Language Pathologist License
- Education: Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Experience: At least 1 year of acute care experience with bedside swallow assessment and treatments
- Certification: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire
