Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY)
Full Time / 35 Hours per week

We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to join the Easterseals MA team this summer and/or Fall 2024. Essential Functions
- Apply the skills learned in graduate program to provide speech & language therapy services appropriate to the age and contract setting in which clients are treated.
- Operate independently under the direction of CF Supervisor.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes
- Engage in continuous professional development and training
- Perform clinical evaluations based on acceptable standards of practice
- Establish a plan of care with realistic, objective goals
- Design and implement a treatment program with consideration of the client’s diagnosis and environment
- Educate client and caregivers in appropriate therapeutic techniques to promote clinical outcomes
Mentorship / CEU / Professional Growth
- Ability to try new settings and/or patient populations
- New graduates and/or therapists working in a new setting are paired with an experienced mentor
- Access to an interdisciplinary network of experienced clinicians to help navigate novel situations (e.g. AAC, ATP, OT, SLP, BCBA, etc.)

Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved master’s level program in speech & language pathology
- Successful completion of MTEL & Praxis Exams
- Massachusetts DESE Educator License (or in process)
- Ability to travel to/between multiple work locations
- Must pass extensive background checks and provide professional references
- If selected for hire, candidates must be able to provide a recent physical indicating the ability to perform the essential functions of the job either with or without accommodations, proof of negative TB test, and required immunizations (including fully-vaccinated status for Covid-19).
