If you are passionate about providing health care through diagnostic testing then this opportunity is for you! Our client is a global healthcare company providing cutting edge diagnostic testing to make a difference! We are seeking an Accessioner to join their growing team!
As an Accessioner, you will be responsible for processing laboratory samples and work with other laboratory employees to catalog patient specimens, suck as blood, urine, or tissue, for analysis (mostly blood samples). As a lab professional, you will carry out diagnosis and treatment based on the samples received. This opportunity is perfect for a fresh graduate with 1-2 years of experience working within a clinical laboratory setting looking to continue growing in the clinical science field.
Pay: $18/hr.
Shift: 2nd Shift, 1pm-9:30pm, Monday-Friday
Terms: Contract w/possibility of conversion
Key Duties:
- Receives and triages all specimens for clinical testing.
- Manages clinical information within LIMS database.
- Performs internal audits of clinical charts.
- Collaborates with various departments to ensure testing accuracy.
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences is preferred.
- 0-2 years of work experience.
- Proven attention to accuracy and deadlines.
- Proven ability to work well independently and within a team.
