Healthlink Diagnostic Laboratories is a medical diagnostic lab based in the Tampa Bay area. We provide a full range of medical testing services on patient specimens for doctors, nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Specimen Accessioner to work during the Day Shift. Candidates that can also work on weekends are preferred as there will be an opportunity to work weekends on rotating basis with current team members. The job duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Enter patient demographic data into our Laboratory Information System accurately.
Ability to accurately identify specimens
Handle biological specimens comfortably
Ensure proper documentation of specimens
No relevant experience required; 1-2 years preferred
Experience working in a team environment
Strong data entry and organizational skills
High level of attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
