Job Description
We are currently seeking a social media specialist to lead TikTok strategy for Abercrombie and Abercrombie kids. The specialist will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and hindsight of weekly campaign tactics, as well as innovation & ideation at a seasonal and weekly level. They will work closely with the creative team to bring content to life on TikTok and maintain brand voice through all communication. The successful candidate must possess strong strategic thinking skills, is analytical and highly organized, with a strong attention to detail.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Plan and execute TikTok content on a seasonal, monthly, and weekly cadence
- Plan and traffic TikTok content through weekly process with creative & merchandising teams
- Regularly engage with customers on TikTok through community management strategies
- Become a metrics wizard by deep diving weekly into platform analytics & provide recommendations to the team that help drive better performance
- Measure, analyze, and report monthly campaign metrics and identify opportunities for improvement (and be able to make strategic recommendations based on those insights)
- Maintain relationship with platform partners to stay up to date on the latest updates & innovation opportunities
- Act as strategy lead within the social pod to provide feedback on strategy & wires across all channels to ensure there is consistency in brand projection
- Develop a great working relationship with our creative team and provide clear, strategic feedback on assets
- Partner with Customer Service team on escalated contacts and responses
- Partner with paid team to identify content sharing opportunities
- Monitor industry creative best practices / trends and maintain competitive library of new content opportunities through weekly and monthly reporting
- As necessary, create real-time, reactive content for TikTok at brand activations & events (some travel required)
- Support the creative team’s execution of shoots on campus with studio or other creative partners to support weekly needs if necessary (Lives, reactive TikToks, etc.)
- Support in activation/execution of TikTok sweepstakes and contests
- Support social operations team member in ensuring they have the correct & final assets and copy for posting content
- Thoroughly understand our target customers, including their cultural references and social sphere's of influence & interests
- Have a test & learn approach, inspiring the team to embrace the concept of creative bravery & trying new things
What Do You Need To Bring?
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience
- 4+ years of social media management experience
- Curiosity and passion for all things social marketing
- Expertise and familiarity with current and emerging social channels & tools (TikTok, Capcut, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.)
- Familiarity with project trafficking and social sharing tools
- Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Flexible and capable of changing and adapting to accommodate internal and external circumstances
- Highly motivated and collaborative with a willingness to learn
- Strategic, analytic, and structured thinking ability

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your years of experience, your work location, comparison to other employees in similar or related roles, or market demands. The range may be modified in the future.
