Job Overview and Key Responsibilities:

Primary focus of the position is to handle Sales pre-travel service issues and provide policy driven guidance and creative solutions when warranted. Research and provide guidance on post travel issues and work with colleagues to escalate for handling and resolution. Use responsiveness, specific technical and system knowledge and networking prowess with internal support departments to find resolution and support to solve issues. Must be able to balance multiple cases and email boxes simultaneously. Strong communication (verbal and written) are needed as communication is with both internal stakeholders and external customers.

• Interact and assist internal and external customers in answering questions (policy & procedure, United products and services, travel related inquiries), investigating customer ticketing issues and special travel needs
• Manage case logging via email for service related items, specialty boxes in outlook or queues via Sales Support application tool
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Sales leaders, Sales Effectiveness team, Revenue Management, Airports, Refunds, Accounting, Baggage and Rate Desk
• Stay up to date on policy and procedure changes
• Occasional travel as needed
• Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years Customer Support experience
• Work well independently in a virtual office while handling large volume of emails
• Be a strong consultant and problem solver
• Ability to work well with others on a small dedicated team
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required
• Strong relationship building skills and ability to engage with internal and external customers at meetings and events
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship

• Sales systems knowledge: Salesforce/Business Insight, Jetstream, Seismic
• Shares, EZR/Navigator proficiency
• Knowledge of internal systems (Rascal, Trip Narrative, Customer 360)

The salary for this position is $64,500 to $80,980, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule. Bonus eligible: Yes
