The primary purpose of the Specialist, Field Development is to facilitate and support the development of medical operations and regional leadership. This individual will assist supported medical offices in maximizing their financial and operational results, productivity, professional development through focused training and development thus creating a cohesive culture of patient centric team members. The incumbent will perform a variety of education, patient care, and administrative duties. In addition, this individual will assist supported medical offices and Regional Trainers with implementation of standards and best practices in all aspects of medical office training.
This is a remote role, but requires the candidate to live in Arizona or Nevada.

Assist supported medical offices on optimizing their potential through efficient, effective execution of the Perfect Patient Experience®.
Coordinate appropriate and approved training with Regional Leadership, ensuring their role as well as the education content or materials used are always in accordance with PDS® core training values and policies. Facilitate and implement office training techniques to be utilized by supported medical offices to maximize productivity, professional development, and communication resulting in improvement of office flow and execution.
Conduct EHR application training by specified job role and ensure end user groups effectively grasp technical learning objectives. Deliver training, updates and communications for system upgrades.
Partner with PDS Learning & Training to develop and design curriculum for training, including defining training objectives, expectations and activities. Enhance the learning of end users by evaluating knowledge checks, proficiency assessments and activities/workshops to customize and deliver effective training approaches.
Work collaboratively with Instructional Designers to create a comprehensive curriculumof blended learning materials and resources that are in accordance with PDS Policies.
Evaluate downstream impact of system updates to develop new learning objectives and materials. Assists in the maintenance and documentation of new training needs for system upgrades.
Assist in monitoring regulatory and best practice compliance by observing and providing appropriate feedback to Management as needed to ensure that supported offices minimize liability potential.
Manage a productive and efficient schedule that supports the directives and imperatives provided by the direct supervisor while maintaining fiscal responsibility and flexibility to potential changes.
Host and participate in training and education events as needed through execution of effective group presentation skills.
Take a leadership role in the education, coaching, mentoring and career development for team members of PDS® and its supported practices. Assume primary responsibility for best practice execution in these areas as it relates to training (including alternate methods of delivery).
Provide support to Field Operations and work with Department Heads to implement new procedures and best practices at the field level with concurrent accountability ensuring that field offices can continue to function effectively and efficiently during the implementation process.
Facilitate “train the trainer sessions” that result in regional “credentialed” trainers as business needs require.

Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in development training.
2-4 years of experience working as a team member in a medical office or in a clinical training setting.
Equivalent to high-school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to travel up to 75%.
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree with considerable prior coursework or on-the-job training in the fields of education, leadership, training, dentistry, or business.
Epic certification.
Epic training experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Applications Suite of products.
Specialist, Field Development must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance. Driver’s license must be verified by completing a background check and motor vehicle record check at the time of hire.
Specialist, Field Development are required to timely travel to multiple offices per day, in some cases several times per day, and must have reliable means of transportation to travel to assigned offices.
In lieu of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance, Specialist, Field Development must have reliable means of alternate transportation which would allow for required, timely travel to multiple offices per day, in some cases several times per day.
