Job Description
The purpose of this job is to assist in the oversight of Physical Security Program(s) for Corporate Campuses and Travel Centers ensuring the security of Pilot Company properties, assets, Team Members and Guests.
- Assist in the oversight of 3rd party or internal Physical Security for Corporate Campus; control budget
- Assist in the oversight of 3rd party Physical Security contract for Travel Centers; control budget
- Assist with the development and implemention of security procedures, policies and protocols
- Conduct ongoing threat, risk and vulnerability assessments; make recommendations
- Perform audits of 3rd party security vendors for Corporate Campus and Travel Centers
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports that represent security trends and analysis
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with Company and State rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Ensure professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Support Safety and Security programs on Corporate Campuses (Incident Response, Inspections, Drills, etc)
- Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
- Ability to use good judgement and act in a decisive manner in emergency situations
- Liaise with various law enforcement agencies (local, state, federal) to maintain local intelligence
Qualifications
- Valid State issued Driver’s License with clean record
- Previous Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience preferred
- Previous corporate security experience preferred
- Batchelor’s degree or higher preferred (Crim Justice, Homeland Sec, Critical Infrastructure Sec, etc)
- Three years of experience in similar role or function
- Professional certification highly desired; CPP, PSP, CFP
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills particular excel and PowerPoint
- Confidentiality and discretion
- Team-oriented, but able to work independently and unsupervised
- Punctual and attentive to detail
- Professional, customer friendly attitude and strong communication skills
- Flexibility in work schedule; Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Support the Safety and Security team on-call rotation
