Job Purpose:
The Director of Facilities and Physical Security is responsible for and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all facilities used by the organization. The individual develops, implements and administers all aspects of the Bank’s Security Program and acts as a liaison between the Bank and law enforcement when responding to robberies or other crimes.
Job Responsibilities:
1.
Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned equipment and facilities.
2.
Ensures assigned Facilities and equipment are ready for regular business and special events.
3.
Oversight of all vendors performing maintenance functions for the bank and its operating subsidiaries, including contract negotiation and collection of vendor due diligence documentation
4.
Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.

Maintains the inventory of surplus properties as well as approving the quarterly lease certification.

Provides recommendations related to new branch and LPO facility placement.
7.
Collaborates with management to prepare and implement budget.
8.
Participates in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning, testing, and training exercises.
9.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of industry trends and developments through independent research and training opportunities.

Attend all BSA training (at least annual) offered through the bank. More frequent and/or specific training may be required, depending on job responsibilities. Perform job responsibilities to ensure the bank’s compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures, which include detecting potential suspicious activity and reporting such activity to the BSA Officer and may include gathering and entering data into systems for monitoring and reporting.

Develops, implements and administers the Bank Security Program, including polices, procedures, annual training and annual board reporting. Ensures compliance with the Bank Protection Act and regulations. Serves as a liaison between Bank personnel and law enforcement authorities when responding to robberies and other crimes.
Note: Incumbent may be asked to perform other non-essential duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Education
HS Diploma or equivalent required, College Degree preferred
Experience
5-10 years of Facilities management experience
Skills/Abilities
Basic understanding and ability to quickly learn facilities to be maintained.
Ability to maintain records and warranties.
Ability to understand and interpret written directions in manuals and on manufacture websites.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software required to complete and maintain records.
