The Principal Specialist, FP&A is a part of the Central Functions Finance Team and will support the Customer & Account Management (CAM) organization. CAM finance is a unique group that covers aspects of finance that most groups do not. This role offers exposure to several major factoring programs, sales & orders reporting, and financial planning & analysis. This team member will work closely with CAM leadership and the finance team to perform and manage actuals and forecasting deliverables.

This position can be worked remotely.

  • Compile, analyze, and report Customer Account & Management (CAM) actuals and collaborate with the CAM budget leads to accurately forecast future spend
  • Prepare CAM annual operating plan (AOP) and Strategic Financial Plan (SFP) while supporting initiatives from Central FP&A
  • Perform financial month end close and forecast responsibilities, including posting relevant journal entries, intercompany invoicing, and headcount & travel reporting
  • Collaborate with business unit finance members to prepare piece part orders & repair intake reporting (weekly, monthly and annual planning)
  • Facilitate quarterly factoring process for Leonardo program and provide support to other various factoring programs
  • Work with key vendor master team to set up new vendors and assist with ad hoc wire payment requests
  • Identify and drive continuous improvements of key processes
  • Support ad hoc requests from internal and external customers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • Prior experience in and working knowledge of finance, accounting, and the interaction between income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to compile, analyze, interpret and present complex financial information
  • Prior experience with presenting to and consulting senior leadership
  • Prior experience in Excel and Power Point.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP and consolidation tools, ideally SAP and HFM

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
