The EDI Specialist will work with cross-functional teams, leadership and external collaborators and customers, to identify requirements and produce EDI connections that ensure correct data movement between trading partners and Ubique Group.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the guidance of Director of Data Services to design, develop, test and deploy EDI 810,846,850,856 and 997
- Collaborate with business users to define technical and process requirements for EDI connections
- Leverage Jitterbit, Salesforce, SQL server and 3rd party applications to provide a complete end to end EDI solution
- Maintain health and security of EDI software and ensure they are up to date and follow security protocols (AS2,x12,SOC, etc.)
- Manage users and permissions
- Support data warehouse maintenance and management using SSMS, SSIS and Visual Studio
- Provide advice and recommendations to implement best practice configuration of EDI environment
- Primary support for Business on all EDI related issues
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with EDI, required
- Boomi certification, required
- 3-5 years using EDI mapping tools such as Jitterbit, Boomi, Cleo, etc., required
- 3-5 years database management, required
- Proven experience delivering EDI solutions, required
- Experience in CommerceHub, SPS or other VAN’s, required
- Experience EDI mapping, design, troubleshooting and delivery
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Analysis Services technologies (SQL/MDX,SSIS,SSMS)
- High level skill of querying MS-SQL databases
- Understanding of development, data modeling and ETL knowledge that includes Data warehouse Data Modeling, Star and Snowflake schema
- Ability to work with a diverse team while managing a workload within a fast paced, energetic, and dynamic workplace
