Job Title: EDI Specialist
Employment Type: Full-Time w/ excellent benefits
Location: Norcross, GA
Travel Type: On-Site
Work Authorization: w2 Eligible - US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
Summary:
Job functions will include working on production support, minor enhancements, and projects. Key areas of focus will be daily auditing, troubleshooting daily transactional issues, testing new EDI documents, and completing EDI configuration.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain, support, and configure EDI business systems.
· Develop and maintain internal X12 Maps.
· Work with and train internal customers on how to process EDI transactions.
· Troubleshoot and provide technical guidance on production issues.
· Interpret business requirements and produce actionable items for themselves and other IT team members.
· Work with IT management to evaluate and implement new hardware/software to improve productivity and operational efficiencies.
· Develop expertise in business functions related to Order Management, Outbound Deliveries, and Invoicing
· Monitor software performance of new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
· Perform database maintenance as required
Requirements:
· Have 5+ years of EDI experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent.
· Working knowledge of X12 Manual (837P, 837I, 835, 276, 277)
· Experience as EDI Analyst, troubleshooting clearinghouse/payer related rejections
· Ability to meet deadlines with a strong sense of urgency
· Experience with setting up FTP, HTTPS, AS2, SMTP, flat file, etc. data communication.
· Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
· Working knowledge of X12, XML, XPATH, JSON, XSLT, XSD or IDOC standards
· Experience with an ERP (SAP, MBC, etc.)
· Experience in database management, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and other business application systems.
· Hands on experience working in integrated development environments, including Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server.
· Experience with running SQL queries and analyzing data is a plus.
· Experience in any function of development (Data management, System Management, Information Management, claim review and submission, etc.)
