The organization offers 24/7 support and response, an emergency safehouse program, counseling, legal services, and much more to some of the most vulnerable members of Sacramento’s many communities. The Role:
The Counseling Services Administrative Specialist is often the first point of contact for survivors seeking Counseling Services from WEAVE. This role is critical to ensuring that survivors have a welcoming, inclusive and positive experience when seeking Counseling Services, and for responding to requests for services in an organized and timely manner.
The Specialist is responsible for administrative duties that support the Counseling Services program. This includes but is not limited to: professional and efficient scheduling of counseling appointments; answering a dedicated counseling appointment phone line during business hours; returning messages left outside of business hours, managing counseling wait lists; assisting with various administrative Counseling Services tasks; and other related tasks as assigned. In addition to the Counseling Services Manager, this position works closely with another Counseling Services Administrative Specialist, the Counseling Clinical Supervisor and the Counseling team.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Our ideal candidate is a committed individual with experience in an administrative support role or a similar role where organization and customer service skills are key. The candidate must be able to engage with survivors seeking support in a professional, compassionate and efficient manner. They must be comfortable managing a busy phone line, be able to accurately and efficiently schedule appointments and maintain waitlists, contribute to a positive and results driven team environment, and demonstrate a clear understanding of how their role is directly tied to the overall success of WEAVE's Counseling Services program.
Compensation:
The starting pay range for this position is $22.40-$26.34/hr. Bilingual (Spanish) oral and written skills are preferred and a pay differential is available for the successful candidate who meets this criteria.

Available shift is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The position is a full-time (40 hours per week) hourly position.
