- Responsible for the success of special event fund-raising programs. Priority areas include:
- Preparation of meetings and all logistics for successful execution of Foundation events.
- Ensuring that the experience of volunteers and potential donors for all events is smooth and rewarding from recruitment to completion of event.
- Coordinate with outside groups on third party events to ensure clear expectations for all involved. Support publicity and provide event-management expertise as appropriate for third party leaders. Example of a third-party event: The Patriot Classic Softball Tournament.
- Produce all event communications pieces for the Foundation in close coordination with Director of Development.
- Volunteer Management - Identifies, recruits, trains and manages volunteers for various fund-raising efforts.
- Presentation of events-related information at Board Meetings.
- Work with Finance & Database Manager to produce and report event-related financial information, i.e. performance to budget and overall fundraising success.
- Represent the Foundation in the community and demonstrate the ability to work with sensitive information, situations, and people in a professional manner with a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
- Support the Director of Development in the We Give employee give back campaign for The DCH Foundation. This includes: bi-monthly new employee orientation presentations, updating paperwork for new employee folders, coordinating brochures to print, ordering We Give supplies and gifts, planning the quarterly appreciation recognition, updating We Give donation recognition wall annually, and tracking all donations in our database software.
- Assist the Director of Development on all social media marketing.
- Spokesperson as needed on behalf of the DCH Foundation’s events for television, radio, newspaper, clubs, etc.
- Must have ability and willingness to work occasional nights and weekends as circumstances require.

- Must have successful record of managing multiple fund raising projects and events simultaneously.
- Must have the ability to alert the Director of Development of any potential problems or conflicts and to offer solutions.
