Inspire Kids NY, LLC is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities. We believe that Early Intervention is crucial for the growth and development of these children. We are currently seeking passionate and qualified In-Home Early Intervention Special Educator/ABA/SI Therapists to join our team and provide essential services to the families we serve.
Newly Certified Special Ed Teachers from Birth to Grade 2 , or with Initial Certificate from Birth to Grade 2 who would like to learn to implement principles of ABA in their practice are welcome to apply. We will provide training to give necessary skills for a successful ABA practice.
Job Description
As an in Home Early Intervention ABA Therapist you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of children ages birth - 3 years old. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify individual areas of strength and needs.
Developing and implementing customized ABA therapy plans.
Utilizing principles of behavior analysis to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
Collecting and analyzing data to track progress and make informed treatment adjustments.
Collaborating with parents and caregivers to provide training and support for in-home therapy.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Maintaining detailed records and regularly communicating progress to parents and caregivers.
Staying up-to-date with the latest ABA techniques and research to ensure the highest quality of care.
Qualifications
NYS Masters Degree in Special Education - Students with Disabilities (Birth - Grade 2) Certification (or)
NYS Licensed Master’s in Social Work (LMSW)
Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities especially in an in-home setting.
Understanding of Early Intervention principles and its significance.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with children and their families empathetically.
Patience, adaptability and a commitment to making a positive impact on children’s lives.
Bilingual is a plus: Spanish, Farsi, Urdu, Chinese, Tagalog, Mandarian, and/or Russian
