Job Title: Special Education Teacher - Travel Assignment - Vermont

Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking an adventurous and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a unique Travel Assignment in the picturesque state of Vermont. As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students while experiencing the charm and beauty of Vermont. This is a full-time, onsite position with a pensation package that includes room and board, a meal plan, and travel pensation. The contract duration extends from now through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in accordance with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with school staff, support services, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to student success.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies and acmodations to meet the needs of students.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and intervention strategies.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• State Special Education Certification.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in various school settings.
• Knowledge of Special Education laws and regulations.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different educational environments and diverse student populations.
• Flexibility and a sense of adventure.
