About the Role

Are you a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher with a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of children with disabilities? ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive educational services to children with a variety of disabilities. You will work closely with families, therapists, and other school professionals to create a positive and supportive learning environment for each child.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that align with state standards and address each childs unique needs
• Provide direct instruction in a variety of subjects,including math,reading,writing,and science,using differentiated teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
• Collaborate with therapists and other school professionals to provide a holistic approach to each childs education
• Assess student progress,monitor data,and make recommendations to ensure that each child is making progress towards their IEP goals
• Maintain open communication with families to provide updates on their childs progress and address any concerns
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in Special Education

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field
• Teaching license in the state in which you will be teaching
• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching children with disabilities
• Strong knowledge of Special Education principles and practices
• Experience with developing and implementing IEPs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to providing exceptional education to children with disabilities
