ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Galesville, WI. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction to students, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet individual learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with other members of the education team, including parents, administrators, and support staff, to ensure the academic and social success of students.
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and make data-driven instructional decisions.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and fosters independence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including attendance, grades, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
- Previous experience working with students with special needs preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate with parents and other stakeholders.
