Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Moderate to Severe Special Education Teacher to join our team of professionals in Sacramento, CA. Job Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Conduct group instruction for students with special needs.
- Individualised Learning: Assess and understand each student's unique learning requirements, and create customised lesson plans to cater to their specific needs.
- Parent and Support Staff Communication: Maintain open communication with parents and support staff to ensure students' progress and address any concerns or requirements.
- IEP Development: Demonstrate the ability to create Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor and document students' progress, keeping detailed records for evaluation and reflection.
- Other Duties: Perform any additional tasks related to the Special Education program as required.
Requirements:
- Education Specialist License: Possess a valid Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Education Specialist License.
- Experience: Have a minimum of 1 year of working experience as a Special Education Teacher.
- Education: A Master’s degree in Special Education is preferred.
Schedule:
- Shift: 7.5 hours per day
- Days: Monday to Friday
