Position Summary The SPED Teacher will provide a learning experience that is culturally relevant, challenging and fun. Candidates should be driven to prepare children for the future by helping them build confidence and a strong sense of self-worth.
This is a flexible, resource teacher position with case manager duties aligning with the expertise and experience of the candidate (e.g. grade level, disability category, etc.). This position is one member of a 6 person SPED Teacher team. School is seeking additional staff members due to higher than expected enrollment / interest from families.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- LICENSURE:
- Option 1: Current Minnesota teaching license in content area / grade levels (preferred)
- Option 2: Equivalent knowledge / experience and willingness to obtain licensure
Desired Skills and Traits
- Experience teaching in an urban public school or charter school setting
- At least two years of experience with a proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom
- Commitment to professional growth and personal development
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with high expectations
