What is this company? Board of who?

Board of Child Care (BCC) is not a federal or state agency. It is an independent not-for-profit organization that serves over 1,000 children annually across 12 locations. You would join about 800 teammates across DC, MD, PA, and WV that empower youth and their families to flourish within their community.

What is the Caminos Program?

You would be helping children who have recently migrated to the United States and are seeking opportunities for reunification with family as well as the chance to pursue their education and legal immigration cases. For this position really being comfortable at the conversational level is key, as you're welcoming new kids into the program and providing an orientation to the program in Spanish. Our recruitment team can talk to you about this.
  • BCC is OK with applicants for whom English is a second language, however, please note that documentation of notes and all competency-based exams (e.g. First Aid and CPR class) are in English.

  • Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
