Japanese Manufacturing company is seeking a Spanish Bilingual HR Assistant! You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department.
Status: Full time, Direct hire, Non exempt
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm + overtime
Location: 100% onsite in Irvine, CA
Pay: $22/hour (DOE) plus benefits *After 3 months introductory period, increases up to $25/hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day to day operations of the HR function and duties
- Maintaining compliance with OSHA, federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Assist in recruiting, new hire orientations and termination process
- Provide payroll information by collecting time and attendance records
- Translate between English and Spanish formally
- Any support duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of federal/state laws and regulations
- English / Spanish bilingual (Speak/Read/Write)
- Associate’s Degree in a related field
- At least 1-2 year of work experience in HR and/or administration field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/ Excel
