The Student Life & Services (SLS) Space Administrator is responsible for overseeing the reservation and maintenance of all SLS spaces on the Brooklyn campus at NYU. The incumbent will oversee the maintenance and reservations of study spaces, student offices, lounges and programming rooms for students and student groups across Tandon. Additionally, develop processes for the reservation of game equipment and collect data on the usage of such. Responsible for the rental process of student lockers and manages the student locker budget. Supervise student workers in order to facilitate the reservation system and keep data logs of students using spaces, games, etc. The position will work 1pm-9pm Monday through Friday.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related area
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in a related area
Required Experience:
3+ years experience in Hospitality, Student Affairs, Student Activities, Customer Service, Operations, supervision, managing budgets or combination of education and experience
Preferred Experience:
3+ years experience managing student spaces at University/college level, overseeing day-to-day operations
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Use of Google sheets, forms and docs; customer service skills, working with college students, effective communication skills, detailed orientated.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $66,600.00 to USD $81,400.00. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
