Join our team as Spa Supervisor at the Etéreo in the Riviera Maya, reporting to the Director of Wellbeing. You will be responsible for the day to day operation plan to achieve the objectives set by the company and monitor their progress as well as keeping the spa staff updated in the latest treatments trends to be among the best spas worldwide and achieve guests satisfaction and high quality experience.
Key Responsibilities
- To be able to communicate professionally and effectively in the languages used in the Spa.
- To be fully knowledgeable of the product lines used in the Spa for retail sales and for professional use.
- To prepare the annual training calendar for the Spa Therapist team and follow up with all the requirements of each training accordingly.
- To conduct periodical evaluations to the Massage Therapist team to ensure that the team is updated and follow up with each Massage Therapist development individually.
- To conduct training for all new team members, Spa Receptionists and Valets on the treatment menu procedures and Massage Therapists in all treatment protocols.
- To continuously monitor the guests feedback and promptly prepare the training needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
- To monitor Spa equipment use and send equipment maintenance requirements to the Spa Management timely.
- To monitor Spa professional product and operating supplies inventories and inform the Spa Management of the needs timely.
- To be responsible for the monthly product and treatment operating supplies inventories.
- Monthly retail inventories.
- To provide a warm welcome to all guests while striving to provide outstanding service.
- To be fully aware of all the treatments currently offered in the Spa Services Menu and of any promotion or offer at any given time.
- To monitor the daily booking schedule continuously throughout the day, keeping him/her self updated with any changes made at the Spa Reception.
- Knowledge with Forbes standards.
- Knowlñedge with COFEPRIS standards.
- Ensures that the Spa Service is tailored to the specific needs of our guests as described in his/her medical consultation form and has it communicated with other Massage Therapists if necessary.
- To ensure that all guests comments and feedback are communicated to the Spa Management for prompt follow up.
- To be proactive and be a strong component of the team in order to achieve the department goals.
- To lead by example promoting an atmosphere of wellbeing within the Hotel and within the Spa team at all times.
- Certificated in various massage techniques, skin care, nail care and body treatments.
- Two years of experience preferably in a supervisor or assistant spa manager position in a top Spa or luxury hotel.
- Fluent in English 85 - 90%
Preferred Qualifications
- Local, Mexico area, US or European experience preferred.
