The applicant will primarily work alongside clients and Service Providers. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform all job duties in case there is a shortage of staff and business demands. Prior experience managing a team in a Guest service environment is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure spa attending and Front Desk duties are being completed. Responsible for ensuring spa is clean, stocked and up to spa standards at all times.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written forms accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals.
- Be flexible with schedule and covering shifts on short notice. Must have good work attendance record.
- Advise providers of last minute changes or additions to schedule and resolve scheduling situations as needed.
- Must be able to delegate work tasks in a professional and positive manner.
- Take initiative in resolving client concerns and/or issues with patience, efficiency and professionalism.
- Be a role model for all staff.
- Report maintenance and safety issues to spa owner.
- Regularly perform spa walk throughs ensuring each area of the spa is up to spa standards.
- Maintain clean spa area (stocking, laundry, dusting, restroom checks.)
- Answer phones, schedule services and assist Guests with any questions about their visit.
- Ensure that schedule is being booked efficiently.
- Organize and restock retail store and report needs to Spa owners.
- Check clients in before their scheduled services and out at the end of their visit.
- Sell products, gift cards and memberships using our point of sale system.
- Be conscientious of the clients' needs and surroundings.
- Balance cash drawers as needed and run daily reports at closing. Math proficiency is a must.
- Communicate and listen effectively to Management, Supervisors, Employees and Guests. Maintain a professional appearance by complying with the dress code.
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings and some holidays.
- Must be professional, have a good attitude and have strong interpersonal skills.
