Job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Sous Chef.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate banquet and food service operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage and train staff in food preparation, service, and customer service
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock control
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus and ensure quality standards are met
- Coordinate with event planners to ensure smooth execution of banquets and catering events
- Monitor customer feedback and address any concerns or issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet facilities and food service areas
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry, specifically in banquet or catering operations
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, service, and safety regulations
- Proven experience in supervising and managing a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
