Our client is hiring a Solutions Architect, this candidate will assist with emerging technologies. He/She will be a hands on Engineer who can deploy application and know server technology as well. This candidate must understand networking and storage components with Middleware, sql, tomcat, windows server, vmware, websphere skills.

Responsibilities:

• Introduce, design, and implement new technologies to streamline business processes
• Identify COTS solutions to address business requirements
• Work on automation of COTS deployments
• Design and Implement infrastructure for both on-premises, hosted / cloud solutions based on design requirements.
• Provide analytical support, assist with RFPs, lead negotiations with national providers, as well as technical assistance in confidential projects on behalf of Legal and ISNY
• Author technical manuals, procedure and design documents.
• Design high level and detailed solutions
• Provide leadership throughout project lifecycle.

Skills:

• Experience with Windows server operating systems
• Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems
• Experience with design/implementation of cloud based applications
• Technical solutions design skills, that address business objectives
• Familiarity with application middleware components
• Familiarity with enterprise networking components
• Ability to pass Level 2 (Restricted) clearance if required
• Design and implement the needs of the enterprise
• Understanding security systems and mechanisms as well as incorporating then with a balance of user needs
• Experience with Unix operating systems:Linux, Solaris, AIX, others
• Experience with VDI, VMWare etc...
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, milestones and schedules
• Experience with design/implementation of cloud infrastructure
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Experience with Fintech
• Puppet Development experience in relation to application installation and configuration
• Develop automation code to deploy and maintain systems and applications using application orchestration software
• Experience with Docker
