Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Align the enterprise IT strategy with business priorities through initiatives designed to transform business processes, business information, and the technical architecture
- Define and drive the technical vision and strategy based on specific, project-based requirements and best practices
- Develop and strengthen relationships with IT stakeholders and identify IFS solutions that complement and enhance their overall IT strategy
- Support the analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of new business processes and applications
- Facilitate discovery sessions and conduct root cause analyses to identify process improvement opportunities to optimize business systems
- Define business requirements to satisfy functional and technical specifications and translate these requirements into a customer-centric solution
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and lead efforts to resolve ongoing functional issues through process re-engineering and changes to the system configuration
- Work closely with product owners, technical and functional leads, and developers to delivered outcomes that meet expectations and follow leading practices
- Test systems and evaluate results to meet functional and technical requirements
- Maintain knowledgeability of current IFS capabilities through continuous training (i.e., deepen level of expertise in CRIM) and engagement in the IFS community
Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering and/or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience as an ERP functional analyst (specifically in roles that required hands-on building, implementing, administering, and maintaining enterprise software)
- 2+ years of experience as an IFS 8.0, 9.0, and/or IFS Cloud Solution Architect
- Experience with the IFS Scope Tool
- Ability to understand business and IT requirements, translate business needs into an effective solution, and present recommendations to executive, technical, and business stakeholders
- Extensive knowledge of order-to-cash and procure-to-pay business processes
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise software applications and their capabilities (coding experience, database and data management fundamentals, web-based and mobile application development and architecture, application lifecycle management, integration tools and guiding principles, enterprise data management tools and methods, and information security)
- Experience with Agile and waterfall methodologies
- Broad knowledge of emerging trends in cloud technologies and IFS packaged solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English) for interacting with European and the global project team
