Job Description:
As a Commercial Solar Electrician at Renewable America LLC, you will play a vital role in the installation and maintenance of commercial solar PV systems. You will work closely with our VP of Construction and engineering team to ensure safe and efficient electrical connections. We are seeking a skilled electrician who is committed to the highest standards of workmanship and safety in the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities:
• Install and connect solar PV systems for commercial solar facilities, including inverters, panels, and wiring.
• Perform electrical tests and inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in existing solar installations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to plan and execute solar projects.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Assist with training and mentoring apprentice.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures on job sites.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial electrician, with solar experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and solar PV technology.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Job Type: Project-Based. Based at various job sites.
Salary: $30 to $35 per hour depending on experience.
