Responsibilities
Must Be able to Install Batteries
Must be able to work on live loads
Knows how to use proper PPE, i.e. high voltage gloves
Can install a ground rod
Knows how to use taps to connect to live main feeds
Can do a MSP upgrade or replacement
Familiar with CT monitoring and installation
Can De-rate a Main Service Panel / Electrical Sub Panel
Optional Responsibilities (Not Mandatory, but helpful)
Must be able to read plans and do array layouts
Electrical wiring of solar array/system (DC and AC) in addition to installing raceways around residential applications include roofs, attics, walls
Effectively work in a team to install and seal roof attachments, equipment racking supports and solar panels
Be able to take photos of the installations such as grounding, jbox photo, inverter use, optimizers/micros, module stickers and MSP photos.
Some Conduit bending is preferred
Perform all construction tasks per manufacturer’s installation guidelines
Perform site survey activities with a team and independently
Assist in tracking inventory for each project
Maintain and clean up the job site
Requirements
Minimum of two years of related Electrical experience as described above
Strong time management skills required, and the ability to work independently with minimal instruction/direction
Basic knowledge of residential electrical systems
Ability to make multiple trips up and down a ladder, daily
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work at the ground level, kneeling, or bending daily
Comfortable in tight spaces (attic, crawlspaces, etc)
Willing to be hired as a 1099 sub-contractor
