The Army Recovery Care System development team develops and maintains a case-management platform supporting wounded, ill, and injured Soldiers and family members on their road to recovery or transition out of the service. This position is for a functional tester to ensure the newly developed features work as designed and provides training as needed to the users.
Responsibilities:
- Handle multiple concurrent testing responsibilities and prioritize work based on experience and directions from leadership
- Create training materials for the new features and deliver them in individual and group settings
- Work hand-in-hand with Quality Assurance team to create and execute test plans that will test functionality
- Interact with ARCS development team to understand current efforts and contribute lessons learned on future releases
- Provide results via reports to both internal support team members and clear and concise feedback to stakeholders
- Document test results in TFS
- Communicate effectively in a accurate and concise manner through written and verbal means to system teams and product and cybersecurity leadership
- Effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and duties simultaneously while effectively coordinating and ensuring that scheduled delivery dates and milestones are achieved
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in IT related environment
- Must have experience as a functional tester. This includes expectations to author, edit, execute test cases.
- Experience using Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Products
- Prior experience with the Army, Defense Health Agency, Department of Defense, or other federal agencies is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, among the customers base and development team
- Experience supporting customer service help desk preferred.
- Must have or be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Required Education:
- Associates Degree or Higher
Technical Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite, SQL experience a plus. Will be trained on Azure DevOps and Zendesk
