Main Responsibilities:
- Adapt to rapidly changing business needs and function in a disciplined/methodical manner while working in an increasingly structured and standardized environment.
- Create and execute test cases based on use cases, requirements and design meetings.
- Have good understanding of system design and debug processes.
- Document system problems.
- Maintain knowledge and experience with operating systems, databases and application servers.
- Be a team player who is highly motivated to improve, accept guidance and mentoring; maintain strong work ethic with minimal supervision.
Qualification Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience within software development and/or Software Testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development or Software Testing, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Software Testing and methodologies.
- Knowledge of using and installing multiple OS environments, such as Windows, Unix/Linux, Solaris and/or AIX.
- Knowledgeable in client-server concepts and network concepts in order to troubleshoot installing and configuring test environments.
- Familiarity with installing and configuring databases including SQL Server, Oracle and DB2.
- Clear thinking, strong problem analysis and solving ability.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools and testing knowledge.
- Excellent reading and writing in English is a must.
- Good interpersonal skills.
