Software Systems Integration Engineer II, Data Logging Systems, Autonomy

Role Summary
The Software Systems Integration Engineer will work as a member of the Self-Driving Vehicle Integration Team within the Self-Driving Group. Projects will primarily focus on the development, integration and improvements of in-vehicle Data Logging Systems and configuration of Rivian's data ingestion pipeline.
Responsibilities

• Integrating in-vehicle logger systems on vehicle
• Supporting configuration of the Logging Systems
• Establish robust data validity and analysis tools to provide high quality and consistent data
• Debugging issues with the logging system and data pipeline
• Maintaining the data pipeline from in-vehicle collection to permanent data storage
• Generate documentation detailing debug procedures

Qualifications

• Proficiency developing code in C++
• 2+ years of experience working in ADAS Sensor Integration
• Skilled in Python scripting and Unix/Linux shell scripting with bash
• Experience working with Automotive communication protocols (CAN and Ethernet)
• B.S. engineering degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering
• Understanding of basic electronics principles and measurement systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytic as well as hands-onproblem-solvingskills
• Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
• Experience working hands-on with in-vehicle data acquisition systems including experiment design, installation, and use
• Experience working on data analysis and detailed post-processing techniques

Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
