Position Description:As a Software Support / Helpdesk Specialist, you will be a crucial part of our team, providing expert support and guidance to users of the Department of Justice's United Financial Management System (UFMS). This role involves assisting users with navigating and effectively utilizing UFMS, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring users can leverage the system to meet their financial management needs. Ideal candidates are those with a strong background in financial systems, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
Experience with UFMS and/or Momentum strongly desired.

Responsibilities:*
- Software specialist to assist users navigate Department of Justice United Financial Management System (UFMS) database
- Serve as the first point of contact for UFMS users, offering support and guidance on utilizing the system effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to UFMS operations, transaction processing, reporting, and other functionalities.
- Conduct user training sessions, workshops, and webinars to enhance the understanding and efficient use of UFMS across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to communicate user feedback and contribute to system enhancements and updates.
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant experience
- Previous work experience with UFMS or Momentum databases
- The ability to obtainand maintain a US Government Security Clearance which means all candidates must be a US Citizen.
