What you will be doing
Albertsons Companies is rapidly expanding in its digital offerings and is in need of an iOS developer to join the fast growing, consumer facing digital applications space, with responsibility over the customer facing IOS applications. These mobile apps are used by thousands of people every day. The right candidate should be able to understand and execute digital transformation strategies, by creating best-in-class technical solutions and leading within and across technical teams to implement those solutions.
Main responsibilities
- Own the development, testing, and maintenance of native development and SDKs on Apple mobile platforms, their respective OS versions, and devices.
- Partner with dev team, leads and SAs to design and test new features and products.
- You have the desire to learn new things, try new technology, and seek opportunities to grow and mentor.
- Provide thought leadership in mobile engineering and bring your passion for technology to motivate and inspire on a day-to-day basis.
- Provide detailed estimates of work and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Produce and ensure delivery of quality, readable, and well-tested code.
- Rely on judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals in a timely manner.
- Own the elements required to deliver features and results to internal stakeholders.
The salary range is $144,760 to $180,950 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
What we are searching for
4-year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience
5-7 years overall programming experience
5 years of iOS development
Strong hands-on experience building consumer facing mobile solutions for IOS
Hands on experience with Swift.
Understanding of Architectural Patterns like Viper
Knowledge of scalability, security, and maintainability of high-volume mobile applications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to communicate and drive highly complex technology solutions to broad audiences within team through diagrams, written and verbal presentations and communication
Ability to work independently
