The RD Link is a digital platform that connects health food companies with nutrition experts to drive credibility and trust behind their products. The Sales Lead is responsible for selling subscriptions to medium sized health and wellness companies.
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Sales Lead. As the Sales Lead, you will play a crucial role in not only driving sales but also being the first point of contact and relationship a client has with our company. You will act as the primary point of contact from initial demo through onboarding.
Responsibilities:
1. Prospective Client Outreach: Responsible for maintaining an active list of leads, seeking out prospects, and direct outreach.
2. Host 1:1 Customized Sales Calls and Demos: Serve as the first point of contact and introduction to the company. Introduce the prospect to our company and offer. Be prepared to handle any objections and create a sense of urgency in the buyer.
3. Complete Knowledge and Understanding of the Product and Ideal Customer: Understand various use cases of the software to meet various prospects’ individual needs. Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring they have a smooth transition and a clear understanding of our digital business offerings.
4. New Client Onboarding: Ensure signing of contract, payment processing, and account set up before handing over to Client Success Manager for onboarding.
5. Sales Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams on sales and marketing initiatives to engage more prospects, grow email list, host live webinars, and more. Offer insight and ideas for getting more users in the door.
6. Upselling and Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships by upselling additional products or services that align with their needs and objectives. Collaborate with the client success team to generate new business opportunities through referrals and recommendations.
7. Feedback Collection and Analysis: Gather feedback from prospective clients regarding their experiences, challenges, and suggestions. Consolidate and analyze this feedback to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements, product enhancements, or new feature development.
8. Client Retention: Develop and execute strategies to increase client satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the digital business or technology industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Proficiency in project management and the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of online digital business models, products, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools.
- A self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of working independently and taking initiative.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
This role is part-time, ~10-15 hours per week. Pay is starting at $18/hr DOE + commission!
