Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Avenity is looking for energetic, self-motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Analysts with at least seven years experience and/or coursework in information systems analysis and design, business process analysis, or Software Quality analysis. Candidates will work directly with clients and teammates and must have excellent teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills. Solid analytical and critical thinking skills are paramount. We are looking for US Citizens or Permanent US Residents with a Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations Management, or similar degree.

Our QA Analysts review each application and develop tests to discover issues that must be fixed or adjusted. They work hand in hand with our Engineers to provide exceptional solutions and service to our clients.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years experience in Information Technology analysis and design or Software Quality Assurance
• Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, design, testing, functional lead, and/or project management
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations Management, or similar degree
• Experience in the financial industry or local government support preferred
• Experience in a client-facing role preferred
• Willingness to travel to client sites preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test scripts
• Test products, services, and processes to ensure they meet quality standards
• Identify and report any quality issues
• Log any bugs into our test database
• Provide system training and support

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
