Overview
InnovaSystems is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Test Automation engineer to support its Navy Readiness Reporting Enterprise (NRRE) program. This position is part of a fast paced team that requires Test Automation for web-based enterprise applications, including front end and back end.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Writing, executing and maintaining Test Automation.
- Communicate daily with Software Development Team.
- Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures related to software testing.
- Automate the testing of software, following test instructions in a test document.
- Develop, publish, and implement test plans to meet the requirements specified by the Product Owner and/or Business Analysts.
- Write and maintain Test Automation.
- Develop quality assurance standards.
- Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
Experience Required:
- 5 to 7 years experience in Software QA Automation testing.
- Designs, develops, and executes reusable and maintainable Test Automation scripts.
- Selenium .NET C#, TestCafe, jQuery experience
- GIT
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- Solid understanding of component, systems and operational testing methodologies applied to web software solutions.
- Strong analytical skills
Desired:
- Client side Web Application development using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Server Side Web Application development using Visual Studio and any of the C# Microsoft ASP.NET frameworks
Education:
- Preferred BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering OR two-five years web development or web automated testing experience.
